Ok so some of us may want to try and play against a few other team's in the future so I thought I would start a tactics thread.

This is not going to go into massive detail on how you should play the game as most of you are already vetran's of the game and very good player's, this will be more like a guide to how the game's should be set up and what role's people should have.
This will all workaround the gamemode most of us play alot which is Conquest.

Maps.
Map's should be small with really a maximum of 3 flag's.

1:Damavand peak.
2:Grand Bazaar.
3:Noshahr canals.
4:Operation Firestorm.
5:Operation Metro.
6:Tehran Highway.
7:Gulf of Oman ( Conquest Assault )
8:Sharqi Peninsula ( Conquest Assault )
9:Strike at Karkand ( Conquest Assault )
10:Wake Island ( Conquest Assault )

So we have 10 maps that can be used for a "Clan" match which will have limited armour and air, which will mean that more ground and pound will be needed to win the game but that doesnt mean that armour or air isn't important which I will go into in more depth later.

Squads.

We will be playing 8v8 which will give us two squads of 4 now it doesnt really matter who is in each squad but each squad member must know there role within that squad, so there need's to be a squad leader of sort's to let the rest of the team know what the game plan is.

Each squad before game will know what flags they should be covering and how far they should push up if needed.
As the game can change at any moment and the gameplan can go out of the window the Squad leader will make the decission on whether to move from there allocated flag and help support there other squad, losing ALL the flag's in some of these game's mean that you could be out of the game completley.

The aim is to obviousley cap all three flag's and push them into there spawn and not let them out but if were up against a good team then holding them in there spawn could be tricky, we should alway's have a squad in close poximity to are HOME flag so they dont "Backrage" us which mean's them cappiung the flag closest to are spawn.

We really want to do that to them and then just keep the pressure on them from there if they break out or move for are other flag's then we just fall back kill them all off and then push up again.

Squad A would be in charge of are home flag and the B flag, Squad B would be in charge of the B flag and C.
Squad B will go straight for B and hold it until Squad A moves up to support, speed is of the essence here so any vehicle's you can use should be used and any heavy armour should be used primarily for the B flag once Sqaud A has moved up then either they can protect B while squad B moves upto C or if possible both squad's can push for C, again this may change if the other team decide's they want to send a vehicle straight round to are home flag but Im sure we can deal with that, this agian is only a rough plan of attack.

Squad setup's/loadout's
Below is just an example as this could change from map to map, and at the end of the day if your good at being an engineer then be an engineer but just be willing to change if needed to help the team.
1: Assault
2: Assault
3: Engineer
4: Support

The main thing with your loadout is to make sure that your whole squad has different squad perks and use sqaud perks that are going to help your team mate's, if you dont have a support guy in your sqaud then let someone run Squad Ammo, if you have Engineer's then use Squad Explosion, this will end up being more of preference thing within your squad.

Armour/Air.
Do not leave Anything at the base if there are tank's then have one person from each squad allocated to drive and gun if there is chopper's then get it up in the air and take out there air even if your not a great pilot while there air is dealing with you it may allow our tank's chance to setup and take the objective.

Stack you vehicle perk's!! make sure the Driver and gunner Stack there tank perk's video below.



This is just a rough guide of how we should set things up and play but alot of it will mainly come to down to communication and teamwork which we have plenty of.

Nice one Bulldog - these plans would certainly help.

there need's to be a squad leader of sort's to let the rest of the team know what the game plan is.

- I totally agree with this...every military unit has a squad leader to make the decisions and issue the orders, it could only help if we do the same.

I also think that in "clan" matches the squad should try to stick together as close as possible to cover each other and to revive/heal fallen squadmates.

Cheer's mate, This is stil a work in progress and there is alot that will change from map to map but I think it's a good starting point .

If anyone else has any input then chuck it up dont be shy every suggestion is a good one.

I think we have to use spawn beacons as we hardly ever use them we should try and find some good places to hide them plus having a mav in the air helps.Plus we defo need one person giving commands per squad and seperate squad partys for matches as to many voices just makes it confusing.And having set orders before game eg. One squad looks after a & b and the other c d and e

Yeah spawn beacon's would be a great plan, save the running to each position or getting a lift with armour.

Im hoping if we do find some clan game's then we will only play 3 flag map's as this will help to not have are squad's to thinned out, and save on having to much air support pissing us off.

Sweet, as for squad leaders, it's something that I need, some times.. just I hope, people who are chosen, remember it's a game and are there to offer what they believe is the best strategy for the squad and advise others, not to be a god, but yh sweet, I'm up for playin when ever there is one to play in, for now..... catch you all when ever x

Agreed Mango mate, TL will just be there to help "Organize" and give simple commands to the squad, as I said in the OP Myself and whoever the squad leader's will be are not here to tell you how to play, you all know how to play the game we are here to just add some organization to the proceeding's.
